Biographical / Historical

Although William Ray began his career at the University of Oklahoma at the Norman Campus in 1988, Ray came to Tulsa in 1990 as the Associate Dean of the Graduate College. Ray became the Interim Dean of the Graduate College in 1996, and in 1998 was officially promoted to Dean of the OU-Tulsa Graduate College. After retiring in 2016, William Ray became Dean Emeritus of the OU-Tulsa Graduate College. During his tenure at OU-Tulsa, he also served as the Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs, Vice Provost, and Executive Associate Vice President.
