Contains passport, the envelope it came in, and all other contents of that envelope. This is a special passport issued by the Secretary of State Cordell Hull, that had to be returned to the Department of State and canceled at the conclusion of the trip. The passport was returned to Cartwright after cancelation. The passport picture is a family portrait of Cartwright, his wife, Carrie Edna S., and his daughters, Doralyn Emma and Wilburta May.
