H. R. 4471: (Pay-as-you-go Federal Social Security for all) - To provide every adult citizen in the United States with equal basic Federal Social Security payments, permitting retirement with benefits at age sixty, and also covering total disability, from whatever cause, for certain citizens under sixty; to give protection to widows with children; to provide an ever-expanding market for goods and services through the payment and distribution of such benefits in ratio to the Nation's steadily increasing ability to produce, with the cost of such benefits to be carried by every citizen in proportion to the income privileges he enjoys.
