File — Box: ML 8, Folder: 38
Identifier: CAC_CC_001_8_8_38_0000
This series consists entirely of incoming correspondence about legislative issues and current events. While some correspondence is from Oklahomans, most is from people in other states, and the majority was received while Albert was Speaker of the House. The first 22 cubic feet cover a wide range of issues, with abortion, busing, Congress, energy issues, gun control, the Vietnam War, and U.S. policy in Southeast Asia being the most common topics. The remaining 19 cubic feet compose a subseries of mail from 1973 and 1974 concerning the Watergate scandal and impeachment of Richard Nixon.
