Photograph album consisting of 30 photographs documenting the state visit of President Lyndon B. Johnson and his wife, Ladybird Johnson, from the time of their arrival in South Korea on October 31, 1966 to their departure on November 2, 1966. Most of the photographs feature Johnson and Park Chung-hee, President of the Republic of Korea (South Korea). Ladybird Johnson is frequently seen alongside her husband. Many of the photographs include Yuk Young-soo, whom was the wife of President Park. Item is housed in its original box.

Photograph album: wood boards (black, lacquered); silk paneling (gold, floral); cord and tassels (dark green); polyvinyl (hinge); metal placard inscribed with Hangul title, title, and date; metal placard of the South Korean flag; metal placard of the United States flag; mother of pearl inlay of the South Korean Presidential Standard which consists of two fenghuang (phoenixes) and a Hibiscus syriacus. 11 7/16 x 17 11/16 (height x width); 1 7/8 (depth, spine); 2 3/8 (depth, fore-edge) inches. Wood box (coated with blue paper); inside box (padded, fabric lined, pink); metal hardware (hinges, latch). 13 x 18 1/2 x 2 11/16 inches.
