Scope and Contents
The Miscellaneous Research subseries consists of materials related to a variety of research projects undertaken by Peters throughout his career. Some projects ended in publication or public presentation, but others remain unpublished. There are also resources related to some of the other subseries’ research focuses. The materials include copies of conference papers, analysis of speeches and inaugural addresses, historical material on several Speakers, speeches Peters wrote for Speaker Tip O’Neill, research about the House Armed Services Committee, and a variety of other resources. Some of the materials include copies of primary source documents held by the Carl Albert Center and other repositories.
