Contains letters, memos, handwritten notes, briefs, orders, and other documents pertaining to a dispute between the Hominy Chamber of Commerce and the Osage Nation Tribe of Indians concerning ownership of land abandoned by the Missouri-Kansas-Oklahoma railroad. The material consists of Hominy Chamber of Commerce's request for Synar's congressional intervention to allow Hominy to sue the Osage Nation for ownership of the land. Also contains district court refusal to dismiss charges Hominy brought against the Secretary of the Interior (No. 91-C-67-B).
