On back: "(1 of 3 pictures) Albert S. Ross, FAIA, and Associates, Architects and Engineers, Ada, Oklahoma. VVH is a non-profit corporation. Original buildings was erected in 1937 with another firm as the Architect-- Engineer and contained 58 beds. The present work which is now substantially complete included five additions, including Operating wing, emergency unit containing 5 exam tables, Administrative wing (over the front entrance driveway), School of Nursing, and the Chronic Disease wing, also a new elevator and alteration work all over the entire original building. The bed capacity was increased to 140 not including 27 beds in the Chronic Disease unit, the one-story unit. Cost of the new construction work was $1,000,000." Ada, Oklahoma. J. B. Hajny, artist.
