Contains correspondence from the Department informing Synar of action regarding applications for financial assistance for F.Y. 1984 (pursuant to Title 1 of P.L. 874) submitted by school districts and notification of grants awarded to districts and organizations in his district. These materials were originally stored in one folder with copies of grants from other agencies titled Grants: 1984. An archivist separated and arranged the materials into multiple folders for easier access. Synar's office retained copies of these documents to generate press releases.
