The original map print identifies all of the precipitation gages, rivers, lakes, and reservoirs located in the Tulsa District of the Arkansas and Red River Basin. The feature of this map is the Preliminary Isohyetal Map for May 7-12, 1950, which depicts the total amount of precipitation in concentric lines. Original map print dates September 1945. There are three documents accompanying this item. 1. Letter (11 July 1950) from Colonel Edward G. Daly, District Engineer of the Corps of Engineers, to Don McBride pertaining to backwater effects of Denison and Eufaula Reservoirs. 2. Graphs of the Monthly Reservoir Operations of pool elevation and average basin rainfall (May 1950) for the Pensacola Reservoir, Tulsa District. 3. Graphs of the Monthly Reservoir Operations of pool elevation and average basin rainfall (May 1950) for the Fort Gibson Reservoir, Tulsa District.
