Arrangement
Items with a recorded provenance were intellectually and physically placed with the materials of the Maps Series; however, a record of their provenance is kept with annotations on the items, separation flags in the items' originating locations, and processing notes in the finding aid. Items in the Maps series are arranged by provenance. Those items with a known provenance were arranged by their originating locations: series, box, folder, and order within folder. Item without a specified provenance was identified as "Origin Unknown" and placed at the end of the series.
