Scope and Contents This series documents Lyntha Wesner’s involvement in public policy creation in the City of Norman from 1960-1980 in public service, her service as councilwoman City of Norman government from 1975-1977, as the League of Women Voters membership records repository and organizer, she was instrumental in the creation of The China Study 1960, and materials related to working with the Association of the of Central Oklahoma Governments on issues of environment in the National Clean Water Act of 1972, public policy and growth. The collection is comprised of typed and handwritten correspondence, handwritten meeting minutes, handwritten notes, registrars, notecards, campaign buttons, flyers, newspaper articles, brochures, deposit book, and reports.
