This folder contains correspondence mainly from Marvin Baker (Sierra Club Oklahoma Chapter Conservation Chairman) and Andrew T. Dalton (Oklahoma Chapter and Earlier Tulsa Chapter Chairman) to congressmen and others with an interest in the Sierra Club from 1972-1981. In particular, there are several letters sent to Dewey Bartlett and James R. Jones. Among other noteworthy figures contacted are Mike Synar, Jimmy Carter, Walter Mondale, and Charles Nesbitt. Also significant in this folder are a handwritten note by Dr. Baker to Charles Wesner dated July 17, 2017, detailing the contents of the box the correspondence arrived in, and a photocopy of a typed note taped to the front of the box it arrived in with additional information about the contents.
