This box consists of a scrapbook on Robert S. Kerr's involvement in the early U.S. space program. There is a scrapbook on Kerr's book, Land, Wood and Water. In addition, there are oversized clippings of John F. Kennedy's visit to Big Cedar, a copy of the April 9, 1949 issue of the Saturday Evening Post, a graduation tassel, and a sketch of Kerr. Finally, there is a folder of miscellaneous newspapers, an advertisement, and a genealogy chart which were all separated from other parts of this collection. Topics include Robert Samuel Kerr, Douglas MacArthur, Roy Joseph Turner, United States Senate Committee on Aeronautical and Space Sciences, Land Wood and Water, United States outer space exploration, and Big Cedar (Okla.).
