Congressman James R. Jones and Mike Synar discussing agricultural issues with farmers at Western Hills State Lodge, June 7, 1986. Jones spoke about foreclosure and tax laws concerning farmers and land owners. Jones describes his tax bills and goals to support the farmer. Jones speaks about traveling throughout the state and listening to Oklahomans and other states citizens concerns about the budget, tax, and oil/gas issues. Agriculture and the Farm Bill of 1980 has been an enormous disaster. Jones speaks about his solutions. The setting is an open setting and Jones does converse with the farmers.
