The Office of Indian Education is asking all school districts to reverify the Indian student counts submitted within their 1981 grants applications. This is necessary to ensure that all applications are processed uniformly. The verification of final Indian student count should be done according to procedures outlined in the January 29, 1980 letter from Dr Gerald E. Gipp.
