The Liberty Mounds Title IV-A Indian Education Program is meeting the special needs of Indian children, according to the State Department of Education. There are some complaints from parents about lack of Indian input and Indian preference in hiring Title IV-A staff, but these appear to be due to misunderstandings about the rules governing the program. The school administrators are working to correct these issues.
