The U.S. Interior Department's Plan to Invite Foreign Investment in Natural Resources
The U.S. Interior Department's Plan to Invite Foreign Investment in Natural Resources
The U.S. Department of the Interior is proposing to remove restrictions on foreign investment in natural resources, and Rodney Wedge is expressing his opposition to the idea. He believes it is a bad idea because the U.S. is already one of the few countries in the world that allows foreign investment in land, and he feels that this could lead to nationalization of U.S. oil investments. Congressman Jones has contacted the Department of Interior for more information on the proposal, and has assured Mr. Wedge that he will keep him updated on the situation.
