The Native American Coalition of Tulsa, Inc. has been accused of improper use of federal funds, but the organization claims they have always followed the required rules and regulations. The organization has annual audits which have been accepted by the government, and a government contractor has recommended their accounting system. The Coalition has worked to build self-sufficient projects, such as a Senior Citizens program and day care center, which have caused financial problems but are not unallowable under federal guidelines.
