Mrs. Lelia Walker, President of the Tulsa Indian Women's Club, is writing to Congressman James R. Jones to urge him to support legislation that would provide for payment to the Cherokee and Arkansas Riverbed tribes. She notes that the House Interior Committee is expected to take action on the bill soon, and that passage of the bill would mean prompt payments to the tribes.
