The text contains a letter from a member of the Delaware Indian tribe of Oklahoma, asking for help in getting additional payments from the U.S. government. The tribe received some payments in 1990, but they were a small fraction of what they were expecting. The letter writer asks the recipient to help them amend the 1972 Delaware Distribution Act to get more money.
