The Native American Programs Act

The Native American Programs Act authorizes financial assistance to tribal and village governments to promote economic and social self-sufficiency for American Indians, Hawaiian Natives, and Alaskan Natives. The legislation also allows for grants and contracts to be awarded to Indian organizations by eligible governing bodies.
