Indian Health Center Fears Cutback in Federal Funding
The Native American Coalition of Tulsa (NACT) is an organization that strives to promote cooperation between all Indian agencies in order to better serve the Indian community. NACT is a member of the Indian Agency Task Force, which is made up of Indian service delivery agencies that meet monthly to share information and coordinate activities. NACT also has an Economic Development department that supports the Indian Business Owner of more than sixty Indian professionals and businesses in the Tulsa area. Additionally, NACT provides community and department services, such as transportation and nutrition assistance, to low-income or elderly individuals in the Tulsa area.
