Item — Box: 38, Folder: 14
Identifier: CAC_CC_109_5_38_14_0012
The Department of the Interior's Bureau of Indian Affairs is recommending the partition of the William Riding allotment in Pawnee, Oklahoma, due to previous and existing controversies over the use of the property. The partition would divide the allotment into three parcels, with Parcel No. 1 going to Earl Chapman, Parcel No. 2 going to a group of heirs who wish to retain the property, and Parcel No. 3 going to a group of heirs who wish to sell their equity by advertised sale. The partition is being recommended under the Act of May 18, 1916. If there are any objections to this action, they must be submitted in writing within 20 days from the date of this letter.
