The Osage Tribe's Request for Funding for Inpatient and Emergency Room Health Services

The Osage Tribe of Oklahoma is requesting $2.750 million from the US government to establish a pilot project providing Inpatient and Emergency Room services to all Indians residing in Osage County, Oklahoma. The project would utilize existing community hospitals, and would aim to improve the provision of health care to the Indian population in the county.
