The text describes the efforts of the Five Tribes Confederacy to obtain the Chilocco Indian Reservation and School. The group is made up of the Ponca, Pawnee, Otoe/Missouri, Kaw and Tonkawa Tribes of Oklahoma, and their goal is to promote economic and educational opportunities for their constituents. They have contacted the Congressional delegation and the BIA regarding the matter, and are awaiting a response.
