The Intertribal Council of the Alabama - Quorate, Kialegee and Thlopthlocco Tribal Towns of Oklahoma has submitted a joint resolution to declare their intent of tribal self government and to declare their intent to protect and safeguard all rights and powers quarantined by treaty. The long standing policies of the Muskogee Area BIA Office to ignore and to neglect the needs of these tribal towns must be corrected. Unilateral actions by the Bureau of Indian Affairs concerning tribal town assets without the consent of the respective tribal councils will no longer be tolerated.
