Letter From Congressman James R. Jones To Mr. Dewey Alberty

The text contains a letter from representative James r. Jones to Dewey Alberty, in which he expresses his concern over the letters interest in obtaining an accounting of Cherokee nation funds, and his worries about a proposed use and distribution plan for Cherokee judgment funds. He assures Alberty that the bureau of Indian affairs is taking steps to ensure that all tribal members have an opportunity to comment on the proposed plan.
