C. L. (Jack) Harp's Plush Office Decor

A top official at the bureau of Indian affairs is being accused of wasting money by redecorating his office with expensive furniture and carpets. He defended his actions, saying that the furniture is necessary to welcome tribal leaders in a pleasant environment. However, critics say that he should have gone through the proper channels to get approval for the purchases, and that he is taking money away from the Indian people.
