The Kiowa tribe of oklahoma has adopted a resolution concerning the grievance of one of its members, Allen c. Queton, who has been removed from his position as superintendent of the concho agency and detailed to the Anadarko area office. The resolution states that the tribe feels strongly that such rights as due process and equal protection of the laws are guaranteed to all citizens of the united states, and that the bureau of Indian affairs has not made any response to quintons grievance since it was filed on October 14, 1974. The resolution calls for no action to be taken on quintons status as a superintendent until an inquiry and investigation have been made into the reasons for his removal, and for the bureau of Indian affairs and departmental procedures to be immediately complied with in the processing of his grievance.
