In the letter, jones encloses a response from commissioner Morris Thompson of the bureau of Indian affairs regarding Timmons request for law enforcement services for oklahoma Indians. Commissioner Thompsons response explains that the Bia does not have the authority or funding to provide such services in oklahoma.
