The text contains a letter from congressman James r. Jones to commissioner Morris Thompson of the bureau of Indian affairs, asking that an investigation be conducted into the matter of Curtis canards opposition to the use of creek judgement funds to pay off construction loans. Canards letter is included as an enclosure. In his letter, canard states that the creek people oppose the use of these funds for this purpose, and challenges the department of interior to prove the legality of releasing the funds to an oklahoma corporation without the approval of the creek people. Canard requests that the decision be brought before the creek people for a vote.
