Item — Box: 38, Folder: 15
Identifier: CAC_CC_109_5_38_15_0010
The text contains two letters, one from joe w. McBride, jr. To rep. Jim jones and one from joe w. McBride, jr. To rep. Tom steed. Both letters express opposition to the proposed consolidation of the Anadarko and Muskogee area offices of the Bia with the oklahoma city office. McBride argues that such consolidation would be detrimental to the interests of the Indians served by these offices, and that it would make more sense to move more decision-making power from Washington to oklahoma city.
