The chairman of the Kiowa tribe of oklahoma, Jacob Ahtone, has recommended Allen c. Queton for the position of commissioner of Indian affairs. In a letter to congressman James r. Jones, Ahtone states that Queton is well-qualified for the position and would be an asset for the state of oklahoma. Ahtone requests jones's support in quintons nomination.
