This text contains a letter from James d. Jordan, district attorney for Okmulgee and McIntosh counties in oklahoma, to congressman James r. Jones. In the letter, Jordan discusses the recent assertion of sovereignty by the creek nation and the difficulties this has caused for law enforcement in eastern oklahoma. Jordan urges the implementation of uniform laws for all people in oklahoma.
