The text contains a letter from congressman James r. Jones to Mr. Robert Scott, in which he discusses Scotts request for payment of attorney fees from the original lake Meramec litigation. Jones has contacted the bureau of Indian affairs on Scotts behalf, and reports that they are nearing completion of a preliminary report. He has indicated his belief that some form of expedited final response is justified in Scotts case, and asks to be advised within 10 days as to the bias final recommendation.
