Milam, principal chief of the Seminole nation of oklahoma, to James jones, united states house of representatives, describes the need for a congressional investigation into the role of the bureau of Indian affairs (Bia) in tribal affairs. Milam cites two examples of improper Bia involvement in Seminole nation affairs, and notes that he has reason to believe that key Bia officials may have been involved in financial mismanagement in the past.
