Identifier: CAC_CC_109_5_38_19_0021
The text describes the status of the citizen band Potawatomi Indians of Oklahoma's per capital plan. As of may 12, 1982, the plan was in the hands of Chizu Toda, who was writing the legislation for it in Washington. Ms. Toda stated that the plan would not become effective this year, but that it was possible that it could be finalized in 1983. The text urges tribal members to write their congressional leaders and ask them to ensure that the plan is processed in a timely manner.
