No Discussion Of Transfer For Superintendent Shoemate

The Osage tribal council has passed a resolution honoring superintendent jack Shoemate for his work at the Osage agency. There have been rumors of a possible transfer for Shoemate, but the deputy assistant secretary of Indian affairs assures the council that there has been no discussion of a transfer and Shoemate has not indicated any interest in such a move.
