In response to a letter from us representative James r. Jones of oklahoma, the us department of the interiors bureau of Indian affairs has forwarded the inquiry to the Tahlequah agency, which serves the Cherokee tribe. The Tahlequah agency is now responsible for all inquiries pertaining to the Cherokee tribe, and all future correspondence should be directed to that office.
