Resolution By Wichita, Caddo, Delaware, Kiowa, Comanche, And Apache Tribes In Opposition To Reorganization Of Bureau Of Indian Affairs
The text contains a resolution by several native American tribes in oklahoma objecting to a plan by the bureau of Indian affairs to reorganize and regionalize its area offices. The tribes argue that this plan would be detrimental to their existing plans and projects, and that it runs contrary to president Nixon's policy of Indian self-determination. They call on the congressional delegation and secretary of interior Morton to put a stop to the proposed reorganization.
