Osage Proposal To Amend Act Of March 3, 1921

The Osage proposal would eliminate the requirement that Osage Indians of less than one-half degree of Indian blood receive a mandatory removal of restrictions on their land. It would also allow the secretary of the interior to issue certificates of competency to such Indians without regard to their degree of Indian blood.
