The project will involve the renovation of meyer hall into a community heritage center. The building will be utilized for meetings by community groups, to feature displays of the area heritage, and for offices of the rogers county cherokee association and institutional employees concerned with education and training programs for indian people. The need for training of unemployed and underemployed indian people is the second need area to be met by this project. The final need area to be treated by this project is the one of employment. The awarding of college credit for training, education, and work experience received under this program should improve the employment potential of the people involved in the project.
