Dr. Joe P. McLoud wrote to Congressman James R. Jones advocating for full funding for the National Endowment for the Arts to support symphonies in Oklahoma. Congressman Jones forwarded Dr. McLoud's letter to Chairman Sidney R. Yates for consideration. Chairman Yates acknowledged receipt of the letter and thanked Congressman Jones for his support.
