Letter to Carl Albert from the Colville Confederated Tribes are concerned about the crisis within the Bureau of Indian Affairs and are requesting that a congressional hearing scheduled for December be postponed until after January 1, 1973. They believe that an impact survey team composed of Indian leaders will provide Congress with the necessary information for legislative action. The tribes are asking for at least one month before the Indian Affairs Subcommittee hearing.
