Concerns Regarding Transfer of Bureau Employee to Anadarko Area Office
The United Indian Tribes of Western Oklahoma and Kansas held a meeting to finalize their constitution and elect officers. They expressed opposition to the transfer of Mr. Daryl Mahoney to the Anadarko Area Office and requested the help of Honorable Carl Albert in preventing the transfer. They emphasized the importance of having competent people working with and providing services to their Indian people. The meeting also discussed setting up committees for resolutions-legislation, health, finance, employment, and education.
