This letter from Carl Albert to Mrs. Minnie Brewer acknowledges receipt of a letter from her regarding the election of a Choctaw Chief. Congressman Albert has already taken up the matter with the Bureau of Indian Affairs, urging that the members of the Choctaw Nation be given a voice in the selection of their Chief. The letter assures Mrs. Brewer that if she needs any assistance, Congressman Albert will be happy to help.
