The Save Our Schools Campaign: Educational and Spiritual Culture are The Saving Graces of any People, 1952-10-15

 Item — Box: 13, Folder: 74
Identifier: CAC_CC_001_4_13_74_0035
The letter writer is enclosing correspondence from two Choctaw Indians which he feels needs the attention of Congressman Carl Albert. The letters are from E.D. Cornelius and Robert Garvin Jr., and both concern the delay in receiving disbursements from the Muskogee Office. The writer says that he has tried to be patient with the agency officials, but they continue to blame him for the situation. He asks Albert to help these two Choctaws, as their letters are representative of the complaints he receives constantly. The writer says that something needs to be done about the attitude of the agency officials, and that the Choctaws will stand by him in a campaign to clean house in the Muskogee Area Office.
