The text contains a letter from Louie Gossett to Carl Albert, in which Gossett recommends Overton James for the position of Governor of the Chickasaw Nation. Gossett describes James as a good friend, well-educated, and with a pleasing personality, and argues that he would be elected if given the chance. Gossett thanks Albert for his consideration.
