The text contains a letter from Carl Albert to Ted Henderson, in which Albert recommends Overton James for the position of Governor of the Chickasaw Nation. Henderson has known James for many years and believes him to be an honest and upstanding man who is well-qualified for the job. Albert assures Henderson that his letter will be forwarded to the Secretary of the Interior, who will make the final decision on the matter.
